Yahoo! eGroups is a free service that allows you to bring together family, friends, and fellow riders through a web site and email group. eGroups offer a convenient way to connect with others who share the same interests and ideas.
You should have received an email inviting you to join our eGroup and by simply replying to that message, you have become a member of our little virtual campfire. That means that any email sent to our group email address, email@example.com , will make it's way to every member's email inbox and be posted on the bulletin board. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/gcbmwc
You are encouraged to participate by posting messages (eg "I'm going to the Finger Lakes Rally. Anyone wanna ride up with me?"), replying to postings, and even take part in an occasional poll. Let's use this Internet as a way to collaborate and communicate our passion - riding... ok and eating. That's what it's all about.
HOW TO CREATE AND EDIT YOUR YAHOO PROFILE AND USE THE WEBSITE FOR FILE SHARING, POLL TAKING, CHATTING, AND MORE.
When you log onto the Yahoo Groups Home page http://groups.yahoo.com/ in the upper right corner click on "Account Info". This will take you to the "Welcome to Yahoo" page where you have to enter your Yahoo ID and password. Enter them and click "Sign In". This will take you to the "Review My Account Information" page. In the "Yahoo ID Card" (upper right corner) under the heading of "Public Information" click on "Edit/Create Profiles". On this page ("Public Profiles for YourUserName") click on the "Edit" link for the profile you want to edit. Please use your real name so that when emails are sent we know who is sending them. The next page will be the "YourUserName profile" page. Here you click on the "Edit Profile Information" link which will (finally) bring up the page where you can enter or change your profile information. When you are done, remember to click the "Save Changes" box before moving on.
